Underscoring its commitment to the British market, Thor High Street Advisors has acquired London consultants Ashley Phillips Lahaise.
Lead by London-based real estate veteran and fashion industry insider Patrick Lahaise, the boutique firm has advised retailers on every major retail high street in the United Kingdom – specializing in the prestigious areas of Oxford and Bond Streets.
Lahaise has advised brands throughout Britain as they negotiate the most competitive slice of European real estate.
Clients have included the maison model flagship for Porsche Design, in Knightsbridge; N. Peal, Vilbrequin, Fresh, Bulgari, and French Connection, as well as corporate clients including HSBC, F&C Reit and Aberdeen Asset Management.
“The price and prestige of high-level London real estate is rocketing to once-unimaginable heights,” said Joseph J. Sitt, CEO of Thor High Street Advisors.
“In order to be able to best advise brands and retailers that need to thrive in such a high-stakes market, it is imperative to partner with experts in the market — and that’s Patrick Lahaise.”
In 2012 Thor High Street Advisors tapped James Hall to oversee the firm’s European operations.
“With Patrick’s expertise and Ashley Phillips Lahaise’s sterling reputation and matchless market acumen, Thor High Street Advisors will be able to provide an unparalleled level of advice to retailers and further position Thor High Street as Europe’s leading leasing advisor,” said Hall, Executive Vice President, Thor High Street Advisors.
“This is an exciting opportunity, as our company continues to provide the best possible service to our clients within the London and United Kingdom – especially the lease advisory and agency market niches,” said Patrick Lahaise.
“Joining forces with Thor High Street allows us to better service current and reach new clients and replicate these services throughout Europe.”
The firm has moved into new headquarters at 67-68 Jermyn Street in the heart of London’s luxury retail district of St. James’s.
