Spiegelman to lead C&W retail

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Gene Spiegelman, vice chairman, has been named head of the firm’s North America Retail Services group.

He will take over retail services from Matt Winn, who is leaving the firm’s Atlantic offices “to pursue other career opportunities,ˮ said the brokerage in a statement.

Since joining Cushman nearly 15 years ago, Spiegelman has consistently ranked among the firm’s top producers working with the likes of Crate & Barrel, Millennium Partners, Century 21 Department Stores, Zeckendorf Development and CH Carolina Herrera.

This year, he led a global team in representing Millennium Tower/Burnham Building in Boston’s famed Downtown Crossing. The landmark transaction marked the most significant retail deal in modern-day Boston history.

In partnership with the firm’s David A. Green, Brad Mendelson, Kazuko Morgan, Joanne Podell and Laura Pomerantz, Spiegelman has been credited with building CUshman a formidable retail platform in the Americas.

Speigelman will partner with John Strachan, Global Head of Retail; Mark Burlton, Global Head of Cross Border Retail; Justin Taylor, head of Retail Services for Europe, and James Hawkey, head of Asia Retail Services on global retail initiatives.
