CBRE Group, Inc. announced that it represented the law firm of DeCorato Cohen Sheehan and Federico LLP in its 18,983 s/f office lease relocation to 90 Broad Street in Downtown Manhattan.

CBRE’s Roger Griswold and Jeff Sharon represented the tenant, who will occupy the entire 14th floor in a 15-year lease term with the building’s landlord, Princeton Properties. The law firm will move from its current location at 810 Seventh Avenue in January 2015.
Eight years into a 10-year lease at 110 Wall Street, DeCorato Cohen Sheehan and Federico LLP was displaced by super storm Sandy in October 2012, taking a two-year sublease at 810 Seventh Avenue. In January 2014, the firm began its search of a long-term location.
After an exhaustive search led by Messrs. Griswold and Sharon, the firm elected to return to Downtown with a long-term commitment that takes advantage of the rental value and incentives still available in the market.
“It was a rewarding experience in every sense for DeCorato Cohen Sheehan and Federico LLP to return to its roots as a true Downtown Manhattan law firm,” said Griswold. “We were particularly pleased that CBRE could aid this law firm in bringing a traumatic time to an ultimately happy conclusion.”
