The Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School announced the roster of its 2016 Advisory Board members.
Comprised of the top real estate professionals in New Jersey, Advisory Board members serve as a conduit of information, knowledge and best practices, fostering productive discussion among students, industry peers, government and academia.
The Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School is predicated on its ability to bring together the real estate industry’s brightest and most influential executives to interact with students and to set the academic course for the Center.
Advisory Board members represent a diverse group of leaders in a variety of fields related to the real estate industry.
Members of the Advisory Board share a common goal of fostering productive discussion in order to advance the study of real estate and to meet the evolving needs of a diverse student population by providing real-world experiences and collegial access to the top minds in real estate.
Advisory Board members have the opportunity to participate in classroom instruction by teaching a class, acting as an adjunct professor or guest lecturer as well as the option to participate in various Center-run conferences and guest speaker series.
Members can also help mold future industry leaders by becoming a student’s mentor, attending career days, and providing internship opportunities for students to gain valuable real world knowledge.
“The industry response to what we are doing at the Center has been exciting. So many of our members are dedicating their time and resources to help us achieve our goal of being the top real estate program in the nation, and our roster of the industry’s top minds continues to grow,” said Morris A. Davis, the Paul V. Profeta Chair and Academic Director of the Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School.
“We’re disrupting the status quo on how real estate is taught both in and out of the classroom and our students have access to the top names in development, leasing, law, financing, design government and more. We are in the process of transforming how Universities approach industry-relevant research. And we routinely produce high-level events that discuss real estate and how it intersects with other key industries and government.
“{Our Advisory Board members are a cornerstone of our success. I thank our returning members for their time and dedication to our mission of developing and inspiring the next generation of real estate leaders and welcome our new members. I’m excited to see what we do next.”
