200 brokers and guests turned out for a launch party held in the parking garage of the new Chelsea boutique condo, Carriage House. Parked up were some very special automobiles, including a 1965 AC Shelby Cobra and a 1969 Jaguar E-type displayed courtesy of the Classic Car Club (CCC) of Manhattan, a private club which gives its members the keys to a remarkable fleet of rare automobiles. Developer Broad Mill Development Group (BMDG) partnered with the CCC to give one lucky guest the keys to a classic car for a weekend and the demonstration of the garage’s cutting-edge hydraulic lift parking system. Developed by Harding Steel, the high-tech garage allows for eight private indoor parking spots; residents can self-park their vehicle and access the lobby directly from the garage. In addition to the winner at the launch party BMDG is providing the first six buyers at Carriage House weekend use of one of the coveted automobiles. Jocelyn Turken, Joél Moss and Herbert Chou of Warburg Marketing Group are handling sales for the building.
