Industry City, the 40-acre industrial center of Bush Terminal along Brooklyn’s Sunset Park waterfront, has announced that Colson Patisserie has signed a seven-year lease at 220 East 36th St.
The Patisserie facility features both a working bakery as well as a café where patrons can enjoy sweet and savory snacks and lunch.
This is Colson Patisserie’s second Brooklyn location. It first opened in 2006 at 374 9th St. The bakery, established by Parisian-born filmmaker Yonatan Israel, is an homage to Belgium pastry chef Hubert Colson’s Belgian establishment.
Colson joins confectioners Tumbador Chocolate and Blue Marble at Industry City.
