News outlet TheaterMania signs 12,015 s/f lease at 550 Seventh Avenue

The Kaufman Organization, The Adler Group’s exclusive leasing agent for 550 Seventh Avenue, announced that it secured a 12,015 s/flease in the building for TheaterMania, a resource for all things theater.

Relocating from 1156 Avenue of the Americas, TheaterMania took a full-floor space on the 16th floor.

The company, which was founded in 1999 created a ground-breaking delivery system for ticketing transactions, theater listings and news.

“Smart, creative and growing companies from all industries are moving to 550 Seventh Avenue. These firms are looking for high-tech buildings next to the best mass transit in the city,” said Michael Heaner, partner at Kaufman.

Heaner and Sam Stein of Kaufman represented the landlord, while Robin Fisher and Christie Bennett of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant. Asking rent was $60 psf.

The 25-story, Art Deco office building offers open layouts, full-floor workspaces, all-glass offices and large windows,  high-speed internet, key cards and on-site management. “We wanted to create a unique social environment for tenants that serve as a vibrant live-work community,” said Stein.

“550 Seventh Avenue has many exciting new amenities coming into play, making major transformations to the building and establishing it as a true community for the tenants.”

550 Seventh Avenue has  two, full-floor, 12,015 s/f spaces remaining on the 14th and 15th floor.
