The New York Yankees are soon to going to moonlight as ambassadors of luxury residential real estate.
The baseball club has signed a multi-year deal with brokerage firm Halstead Property. The agreement, which makes Halstead “the Official Luxury Residential Real Estate Firm of the New York Yankees,” will involve brand cross promotion activities and community outreach program.
“Halstead is incredibly proud to partner with the Yankees, a brand synonymous with style, power, confidence and success. The synergy between Halstead and the Yankees is clear: both brands have an enduring commitment to aspire and achieve greatness; both are born and bred in New York City; we each feature a talented roster committed to being the best in our respective fields; and we have both earned decades of trust and respect because we run our businesses with integrity,” said Matthew Leone, the Chief Marketing Officer of Halstead.
As part of the deal, the Halstead logo will appear above the Yankees on-deck circle and on television screens placed throughout Yankee Stadium. The Third Base Champions Lounge, an area for premium seat holders, was also renamed the Halstead Lounge.
The two brands will also collaborate on Halstead Helping Hands, the brokerage firm’s philanthropic arm. Yankees players will appear at charity events. Meanwhile, the team will donate tickets and autographed memorabilia.
“We are very excited about partnering with Halstead, a prestigious New York brand,” said Bryan Calka, New York Yankees Vice President Partnerships. “We are confident that this partnership will help continue to grow its brand presence and re-affirm Halstead as the industry leader in the luxury real estate market.”
The partnership will start on April 10, when the Yankees play their first home game of the upcoming season.
