Leasing underway at 70 Pine Tower Collection
Rose Associates announced that leasing has begun for apartments in the Tower Collection of 70 Pine.
Comprised of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments on floors 32 through 54, the Tower Collection is the second of three releases at 70 Pine.
Leasing of the property’s City Collection (floors 7 to 31) began earlier this year and roughly 60 percent of those floors are fully rented.
The Tower Collection has seven apartments on each floor and offers units with 9.5 ft. ceilings, hardwood floors and stainless steel Jenn Air and Blomberg appliances. Each home also has a washer and dryer.

Along with development partner DTH Capital, Rose has overseen a three-year renovation of the 66-story 70 Pine.
The property is comprised of more than 600 rental apartments in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations.
70 Pine has long been one of the city’s most celebrated skyscrapers. It originally acted as the headquarters of Cities Services, which sold the building to American International Group (AIG) in 1976.
After AIG vacated the property, Rose Associates joined forces with DTH Capital to lead a team of architects, designers and landmark specialists that have transformed the building.
Along with private residences, 70 Pine includes a 132-key residential hotel called Q&A, operated by Furnished Quarters.
Rents range from $3,400 for a studio to more than $8,000 for a two-bedroom.

Sales start at 1399 Park
Sales just launched at 1399 Park Avenue, the new, full-service luxury condominium development at the crossroads of Upper Carnegie Hill and East Harlem.
Julia Boland of Corcoran is leading sales for the building, developed by Heritage Real Estate Partners.
Goldstein, Hill and West Architects designed the building in collaboration with Whitehall Interiors.
Amenities include an indoor/outdoor entertaining space that connect a sprawling terrace with Wolf grills to the indoor residents’ lounge.

Sutton model apartment open
Toll Brothers City Living unveiled of the first decorated model home at The Sutton, the new 29-story condominium building in Sutton Place.
This fall, as first residents have begun to move in, the sales gallery and daily operations have also moved on-site.
The model home is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathresidence totaling 1,947 s/f with white oak flooring and oversized windows.

Naftali sees sales surge at 221 W77th
The Naftali Group announced that 221 West 77th Street, its second building on the Upper West Side block, is now more than 60 percent sold, including the penthouse and both townhouses.
Sister building, 210 W 77th Street, is 93 percent sold.

Work starts on JC development
Fields Construction Company announced that construction has commenced on Phase II of 207 Van Vorst Street in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Featuring 153 luxury apartments and 7,305 s/f of retail space, Phase II of 207 Van Vorst Street is the second of two 15-story buildings that are being erected on the site, which is situated adjacent to St. Peter’s Prep high school and within walking distance of NJ Transit’s PATH and light rail lines.
The first building, which is also under construction, features 255 residences and an additional 7,237 square feet of retail space.
“Located in a densely populated section of Jersey City, right next to a school, 207 Van Vorst Street presents the type of construction challenges that we’ve become adept at overcoming,” Fields Construction Principal Jim Caulfield said.
“As we look to take on new projects throughout New Jersey, these two buildings will serve as a shining examples of the world-class work that our team produces.”
The project, which is being developed by Fields Development Group, was designed by architectural firm Marchetto Higgins Stieve.
McLaren Engineering Group is providing structural engineering design and construction support for the project.
Construction of Phase I is expected to be complete in fall 2017, while Phase II is slated for completion in winter 2018.

Edry team to sell Queens conversion
The Edry Team at Keller Williams NYC will serve as exclusive sales agent for the conversion of a pre-war multi-family residence in Forest Hills, Queens, to condominium status.
