A trust connected to NBA basketball player Michael Dunleavy, Jr. has purchased a condo at 7 Hubert Street for $4.5 million, according to city records. The unit, 4A, was originally listed by Karl and Inna Koehler for $5 million.
Leonard Steinberg and Herve Senequier of Prudential Douglas Elliman represented the sellers of the 2,556 s/f apartment, which has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
“It’s a beautiful apartment with an extraordinary terrace,” said Steinberg.
He said that the layout was “classically” proportioned, and that 7 Hubert was one of the most desirable buildings in Tribeca. The building’s 33 units are completely sold. Courtney Sale Ross, widow of Time Warner CEO Steven Ross, sold one of her three apartments earlier this month for $5.9 million.
However, 4A closed at $500,000 under the asking price, likely because comparable apartments in the building had better views, said Steinberg.
The Corcoran Group represented the buyer. A Corcoran spokeswoman wasn’t immediately available to comment.
The Koehlers had purchased 4A for $2.29 million in September 2004.
