The Marketing Directors has been named sales and marketing consultant for 50 West Street, a 63-story, luxury condominium in Downtown Manhattan.

This property, being developed by Time Equities, is set for completion in 2016.

“As the demand for housing in Manhattan grows further, we will continue to see Downtown as a highly coveted destination for residents over the next few years,” said Francis Greenburger, Chairman of Time Equities.

“We’re excited to work with The Marketing Directors on 50 West Street – they have a strong grasp on the pulse of the industry. They translate that expertise into success for the properties they oversee, offering their clients invaluable direction in the planning stages and customized sales strategy and management.”

Greenburger first purchased the site in 1983. He held a ground-breaking for the project in June 2008, but construction came to a screeching halt after the financial collapse just months later. Five years on, the project  landed a $400 million loan that will allow the developer to start work on the luxury tower .

50 West Street  is designed to anticipate LEED Silver certification and is equipped with the latest in storm protection technology. The luxury condominium was designed by architect Helmut Jahn. Time Equities also engaged famed interior designer Thomas Juul-Hansen to design the building’s interior spaces.

In January 2014, Time Equities and The Marketing Directors officially commenced the marketing phase of the 50 West Street project with the launch of its teaser website ( The website features a  virtual video – produced by the branding firm, DBOX – which highlights the tower’s architectural form and  Hudson River views.

“The teaser website launch is the first step in an exciting public rollout process for the project,” said Francis Greenburger, Chairman of Time Equities. “We encourage brokers and potential buyers to visit the website to get a glimpse of what is to come.”

The prestigious assignment for The Marketing Directors comes on the heels of a busy 2013. The firm reports sold 60 percent of the apartments in its New York City inventory during the year, completing its sales campaign at The Jefferson at 211 East 13th Street  in seven months. The Marketing Directors also reached a sales milestone of 45 percent sold at two of its New Jersey properties, 55 Melrose and Palmer Square.

“We’re thrilled to report another prosperous year for The Marketing Directors at residential properties throughout the region,” said Adrienne Albert, Founder and CEO of The Marketing Directors. “We strive to meet our client’s vision for every property, and we’re happy to announce that we continuously deliver results. Our firm is confident that its proven sales and marketing program will bring success to our clients’ buildings time and time again.”
