The company signed a lease for 5,161 s/f of office space in the 40-story, LEED Gold-certified office and retail tower developed, owned and managed by SJP Properties in partnership with Prudential Real Estate Investors.

The new office will establish a foothold for the firm as it looks to capitalize on its network of relationships in the city and the day-to-day New York-based activity of many firm members.

“The opening of this new Manhattan office is an important milestone in our firm’s history,” said CSG member Frank Giantomasi. “11 Times Square will provide us with a beautifully designed and perfectly situated setting to serve our clients in New York and throughout the region.”

CSG’s managing member Daniel Schwartz added, “The exceptional quality of our work has been known on both sides of the Hudson River for years and, because of that, we’re seeing increased demand from New York-based clients.”

While CSG’s origins are NJ-based, the firm has long represented clients from the New York metro area and the region.

The company has 140 lawyers having most recently welcomed five members and a counsel to its growing team, who, together with other CSG attorneys, regularly meet client needs in New York.

The addition of these lawyers helps the firm advance its strategic plan to expand its reach while bolstering its existing strength in the areas of real estate, corporate transactions, commercial litigation, private equity and trusts and estates.
