Lane celebrates 30 years with food drive

Greg Burke, owner of Lane Office furniture dealership in New York City, celebrated his 30th year at his company by donating 20,000 meals to homeless New Yorkers as a corporate sponsor for the Coalition for the Homeless Grand Central Food Program. Throughout the month of October, employees at Lane Office volunteered at the food pantry at St. Bart’s Church in Midtown East. Along with his wife Christine and two sons, Charlie and Brian, Greg took a van trip throughout downtown Manhattan to hand out hot soup, bagels, and milk to several hundred people from Kips Bay to Canal Street, Murray Hill to Penn Station. “It’s truly humbling to help others,” said Burke, “My people loved helping out and it was the most rewarding way for me to celebrate my time so far here at Lane Office.”
