JAG Management Tapped by Penzance for Brandywine Green Lease-Up

JAG Management Company, the third-party management division of Jefferson Apartment Group, has assumed management of Brandywine Green—a luxury multifamily community in Brandywine, Maryland—on behalf of owner Penzance.

This new 243-unit Class A community, formerly Allora Crossing, was developed by Trammel
Crow Residential and is owned by Penzance. The project delivered this spring and is already 50 percent leased.

“We’re incredibly pleased Penzance selected JAG Management to take this luxury lease-up to the finish line,” said Patty Holt, JAG’s Senior Vice President, Property Management. “We look forward to delivering a successful outcome for Brandywine Green’s owner and residents alike.”

The one and two bedroom apartment homes at Brandywine Green feature gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, tile backsplashes, stainless appliances and islands, along with full-size washers and dryers and plank flooring throughout. Select units have private patios and balconies.

The standalone clubhouse features the leasing center, a clubroom lounge with flat-screen and full kitchen with coffee bar, fully equipped fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, tech lounge, and conference room. Extensive outdoor community amenities include a resort-style pool with tanning ledge, outdoor yoga space, grilling stations with dining area, and on-site dog park.

“Brandywine Green is a strategic asset in our growing portfolio,” said Cristopher White,
Managing Director, Investments of Penzance, “and JAG Management is an ideal partner to
complete the lease-up and manage this brand new multifamily community on our behalf.”

JAG is a recognized leader in multifamily development and continues to grow its reputation as a third-party management firm. Fee-management currently comprises over half of the JAG portfolio as they continue to expand that sector of their business.

Brandywine Green is located at 15135 Mattawoman Drive with easy access to Route 301 /
Crain Highway, Route 5 / Branch Avenue, and I-495 / the Capital Beltway. The community is
convenient to a full range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options at nearby Brandywine Crossing including a Target, Xscape Theatres 14, Safeway, and Costco.
