Indie babes at Brookfield

Cool city kids retailer Babesta has signed a lease at Brookfield Place.

The Tribeca-based store will be joining Saks Fifth Avenue, Hermes, Ferragamo, Scoop, Bonobos and a host of world-class brands at the downtown retail and dining destination due to open in full March 2015.

Babesta, the indie baby-to-big-kid clothing, gift and gear boutique, is owned by downtown residents Jennifer and Aslan Cattaui. They signed a lease for a 1,721 s/f flagship store on the second floor of the property.

Cheryl Cohen of Trendsetter Real Estate represented the tenant.
