IN PICTURES: Isay Weinfeld’s first New York residential development

Centaur Properties and Greyscale Development Group, along with Marissa Sackler and Max Poglia, hosted a gathering of prominent Brazilians to celebrate Jardim, the first residential development in New York from the leading contemporary Brazilian architect and interior designer, Isay Weinfeld.

The event took place in Jardim’s sales gallery, located on West 26th Street in West Chelsea, and drew such guests as photographer Valdir Cruz and musician Alexia Bontempo who enjoyed cocktails and  music from DJ Orazio Rispo and Brazilian musician Duda Louro.

Overlooking the High Line’s elevated parkland, Jardim has a canopy of native evergreens and flowering trees. An urban park envelops the two 11-story towers that comprise the development. A brick-vaulted private tunnel connects West 27th and 28th Streets, leading to views of the garden’s dense greenery through a latticed wall in the lobby.

Jardim is developed by Centaur Properties and Greyscale Development Group. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is the exclusive sales and marketing agent.
