Two Trees Management Company announced that Huge, a global digital design, technology and strategy firm, has signed a new lease expansion at the company’s New York headquarters, 45 Main Street in DUMBO, for a total of 80,000 s/f.
Huge was founded in 1999 with two people working out of an apartment on Water Street.
Since moving into 45 Main Street in 2006, the company has grown from 2,500s/f to a total of 80,000 s/f in the building. With over 850 employees globally and more than 500 in Brooklyn alone, Huge has expanded to offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Washington D.C., London, and Rio de Janeiro.
Shannon Rzeznikiewicz of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Huge in the leasing process.
“Just like DUMBO, Huge is known for its energy, innovation, and prolific growth,” said Dan Conlon, director of leasing for Two Trees Management.
“We look forward to seeing their business expand in Brooklyn, and are eager to celebrate the future successes of our other tenants that call DUMBO home.”
Catering to startup companies and boutique firms, Two Trees Management directly appeals to small businesses by offering competitive rental prices and flexible work spaces.
Currently, over 90 percent of Two Trees’ commercial tenants occupy office spaces smaller than 5,000 s/f. Over time, as a business expands, Two Trees strategically positions space to make larger offices available so companies can keep their roots in DUMBO.
Huge managing director Eric Moore said, “DUMBO is our home. We’re delighted to grow and expand in the neighborhood and the building that has grown alongside us a business. Our employees love working in DUMBO, and being here and in Brooklyn is now a critical part of our brand and our DNA as a company.”
Other tenants who have grown their business while remaining in DUMBO as well include Red Antler, a branding and design consultancy, and Aden and Anais, a vendor of children’s blankets and washcloths, growing from 1,800 s/f offices into occupying 15,000+ square feet offices today.
45 Main Street features high speed internet, shared conference rooms, bike parking, and a recently renovated lobby.
