HAVE YOU HEARD? Walt Whitman apartment on market; News anchor Dan Harris at HGAR event;

ABC news anchor Dan Harris was the keynote speaker at the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS’ (HGAR) Centennial Member Appreciation Day earlier this month.
Harris, who has worked with ABC News for 16 years, is also the author of 10% Happier, a New York Times bestselling book about a fidgety, skeptical news anchor who stumbles upon meditation.
He was the anchor of the Sunday edition of World News, and regularly contributes stories for 20/20, World News Tonight with David Muir, and the weekday edition of Good Morning America.
The HGAR event drew more than 1,000 Realtors.

The third biggest construction company in the world broke ground last week on a Jersey City apartment building.
China State Construction Engineering Corporation is building Park and Shore on the New Jersey waterfront.
Its American subsidiary, Strategic Capital, unveiled the first official details of the new luxury residential development during a ceremony with Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.
Located along the Hudson River waterfront in Jersey City’s Newport neighborhood, the new construction development is comprised of two distinct buildings and is one of the only new luxury condominium projects being built in Newport.
China Construction America Chairman and CEO Ning Yuan welcomed the mayor and key partners to the ceremony.

The literati is expected to flock to see a new Brooklyn Heights listing with a connection to American poet and author Walt Whitman.

Apt. 3C
Apt. 3C at 28 Old Fulton

Carson Alexander at Keller Williams NYC Midtown has listed the two bedroom, 2-bath #3C at 28 Old Fulton Street at $1.435.
The co-op apartment is located in the former Eagle Warehouse which once housed the offices of the Brooklyn Eagle where Whitman served as editor from 1846 to 1848.
The building would later become a silverware and storage warehouse, then the Brooklyn Law School headquarters until the final conversion into co-op apartments in the 1980s.
The apartment has 12 ft. beamed ceilings and an office area while the building “caters to loft-style living and maintains the industrial feel from the original conversion.ˮ
