Douglaston Development announced that The New York Foundling, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and families, has opened its 10th New York City location at the developer’s Crossroads, located at 501 Southern Boulevard in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. Nicholas Black of Platinum Drive Realty represented The New York Foundling, while Douglaston Development was represented in-house.
The new 22,000 s/f space houses The New York Foundling’s case movement services, evidence-based and preventive programs, educational support services, and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Crossroads Plaza is a three phase affordable housing apartment building complex with 425 units, 60,000 s/f of ground floor retail, underground parking, and a 20,000 s/f plaza on a demapped City street located at Southern Boulevard and East 149th Street in Mott Haven.
