Finance firm Ameriprise takes full floor at One World Trade Center

Financial services firm Ameriprise Financial has just signed a full-floor lease at the Durst Organization’s One World Trade Center. The company, which is headquartered in Minneapolis, will take a 37,704 s/f space at the building’s 78th floor, boosting occupancy in the property to 69 percent.

“Adding a company like Ameriprise, with a 120-year history and steadfast commitment to serving clients’ financial needs, to our tenant roster speaks to the compelling nature of One World Center and its place in Lower Manhattan’s ongoing importance as a center for business and culture,” said Eric Engelhardt, vice president of leasing at One World Trade Center for The Durst Organization. “One World Trade Center continues to attract a diversity of space users, with additional momentum building among financial services firms.”

Ameriprise will be moving from its current location at Silverstein Properties’ 7 World Trade Center. The firm will move into its new offices during the second quarter of next year.

The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Engelhardt and Karen Kuznick, along with a Cushman & Wakefield team led by Tara Stacom. Ameriprise was represented by Josh Kuriloff, Drew Braver, Frank Cento and the Cushman & Wakefield Global Occupier Services team.
