The brand new, luxury rental residence is comprised of 83 studio, one and two bedroom apartments ranging from 500 to 700 s/f. Minutes from Midtown Manhattan by the subway Elm East was developed by the father and son team, James and Jerry Pi.
Offering views of Manhattan from downtown to Central Park, most apartments have glass-walled balconies or terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The building was designed by Raymond Chan Architects and the contemporary lobby by Daniel Goldner Architects. The Elm East will provide doorman services and on-site building maintenance.
Apartments have 5-inch wide hardwood slat floors, white marble bathrooms and kitchens with custom hardwood cabinetry, granite counters and stainless steel LG appliances.
Directly across the street from Elm East will be Phase 2 of Elmhurst’s revitalization: The Elm West. Development for this new multi-used project is slated to begin in late 2013.
