DONE DEALS: Sacks and the city

“When you find your client the perfect home, it pays to act fast,” says Citi Habitats agent Andrew Sacks.

Sacks just closed on a one-bedroom, 1-bath co-op at 55 East 9th Street in the Village for his Aussie client.

They were among the first people to view the property, but the first open house was scheduled for later in the week.

“We knew immediately this was a well-priced apartment that met all of his needs,” reports Sacks.
“I hate playing games, so I got the seller’s broker on the phone and told her if she cancelled the open house we are prepared to come in with an all-cash, full price offer.”

Broker Augusta Kaiser, of Engelman & Co., agreed and Sacks’ client is now a happy New York homeowner.

“Sometimes, a buyer’s circumstances may not be ideal for most co-op boards,” says Sacks. “But clients come to me with their challenges and its my job to not only solve them, but to exceed their expectations.”
