DONE DEALS: No big secret to selling a special space

A stand-out apartment doesn’t need a stand-out price.

When Triplemint agent Tyler Whitman listed #4 at 199 Humbolt Street in Williamsburg, the funky floor plan didnʼt faze him.

“The Brooklyn market is very competitive for unique apartments that are priced appropriately,” said Whitman.

“This was a rare one bedroom with flexible bonus space and three terraces. It really stood out in the crowd.”

Whitman listed the one bedroom, 1-bath unit spread across multiple levels at $775,000.

The apartment’s 20 ft. ceilings, kitchen terrace, and private roofdeck drew multiple offers and, within three weeks, he was in contract at $790,000.

The buyer was a Brooklyn native who had been waiting for a unique place to call his own.

Christopher Turney of Prevu Real Estate brought in the buyer.
