
Colliers International has been selected as the exclusive leasing agent for 801 2nd Avenue, a 163,000 s/f boutique office building located at the southwest corner of East 43rd Street.
Forgson/Tri Realty is the owner of the 22-story, pre-war, owner-operated building whose tenants include law firms, media companies, foreign missions, UN affiliates, construction and security companies, and JP Morgan Chase, among others.
Andrew Simon, executive managing director in the New York office of Colliers International, will lead the leasing team for 801 2nd Avenue that will include Drew O’Malley, Arthur Zuckerman, and Jack Shulman.
According to Simon, the building provides 8,500 s/f floor plates on the lower floors, while the upper floors offer views of the East River.
Located in the Grand Central submarket, 801 2nd Avenue is close to The United Nations and Grand Central Station, including multiple subway and bus lines, and Metro North, as well as area amenities such as restaurants, retail, and hotels.
Forgson/Tri Realty has been in the real estate business since 1980 and has acquired many properties in and outside of Manhattan.
Their activities include the acquisition and operation of shopping centers and commercial office buildings, and the conversion of residential properties to cooperative and condominium ownership.
