Colliers recognized for work on hospital facility

Colliers International Commissioning & Energy Services won the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA) Northeast Chapter’s 2018 Project Award for New Construction for its work on the state-of-the-art NewYork-Presbyterian David H. Koch Center.

Colliers provided ccommissioning services on the new, 740,000 s/f ambulatory care facility that opened in April 2018.

“We were incredibly honored to have been chosen to deliver this invaluable addition to NewYork-Presbyterian’s renowned hospital services,” said AJ Kindya, the New York City Regional Director for the Commissioning & Energy Services team and Colliers’ senior leader who worked with NewYork-Presbyterian.

In July 2020, the top five-and-a-half floors of the building, currently under construction, will be occupied by the NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns, a 220,000 s/f facility that will feature neonatal intensive care, alabor and delivery rooms.

The BCxA is an international non-profit organization that serves as the recognized authority and resource on commissioning.
