Shared office provider Select Office Suites has taken two floors at Princeton International’s 90 Broad Street office tower.
The new location, which sits between Bridge Street and Stone Street in the Financial District, will be Select’s third branch in New York City. Select’s other locations in New York City are 1115 Broadway in the Flatiron District and 116 West 23rd Street in Chelsea. The company’s lease covers about 40,000 s/f. Tenants will start moving to the new location in early December.
“This expansion further solidifies our imprint across New York City as the premier shared office space provider,” said Angela Olivo, Select’s CEO. “90 Broad Street offers everything our clients are looking for; first-class office space, work-life balance, easy access to public transportation and a great mix of restaurants and retail nearby.”
The firm’s new home is a 25-story building with 370,200 s/f of space. Princeton International bought the property from JP Morgan Chase for $126 million in 2013. This set off a lawsuit from the previous owner, Kent Swig, who accused the bank of violating an agreement that gave him the right to make an offer against a bid from a third party. Swig withdrew the lawsuit later that year.
Select’s space will contain a large common area and a wine bar. The company will share the tower with law firms such as Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP and DeCorato Cohen Sheehan and Federico LLP.
