Christin Philips in a class of her own —almost

Most MAIs (Member of the Appraisal Insitute) are men, which puts Christin Philips in the minority.

A vice president of Appraisers and Planners, Inc., a full service real estate appraisal and consulting firm headquartered in New York City, Philips was recently awarded an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, a global organization of professional real estate appraisers and world leader in the profession.

Phillips has been with Appraisers and Planners since 2005 and now heads the firm’s business in Philadelphia and appraises properties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

She joins a select group of top commercial real estate appraisers who have completed the rigorous requirements of the MAI designation.
Phillips brings years of experience in appraisal, financial management, business development and legal and contract analysis to her position.

She has appraised major commercial projects valued in excess of $5 billion including property types ranging from multi-tenant office buildings in New York City, to large-scale, anchored shopping centers and acres of land in rural New Jersey.
