XIN Development Group is offering apartment buyers at its Williamsburg condo project Oosten an unusual perk: a free trip to Amsterdam.
In a press release, the firm announced that buyers of “certain premium residences” will receive an expenses-paid trip to Amsterdam to meet the building’s Dutch designer, Piet Boon.
The 216-unit building at 426 Kent Avenue, scheduled for completion in 2016, is currently 30 percent sold, according to XIN.
The first of four penthouses has just hit the market with a price tag of $6.4 million.
“Many buyers have already expressed interest in designing their Oosten home with Piet Boon furniture and fixtures,” said John Liang, managing director of XIN.
“We thought it would be a great idea to offer those who purchase a penthouse, loft, or townhome the chance to fly to Amsterdam to meet with Piet and his team personally to discuss a custom design for their new home.”
XIN, the U.S. arm of Xinyuan Real Estate, is the first Chinese firm to develop a building in New York without the help of a local partner.
It bought the site on the East River for $54.2 million in 2013. Sales at the building launched last September. взять деньги в долг на карту
