CBRE today announced it has been appointed the exclusive office leasing agent at 383 Main Avenue in Norwalk, CT, and subsequently secured a new lease at the Class A
office complex. Evolve BioSystems, a privately held company dedicated to solutions to establish, restore, and maintain a healthy gut microbiome in infants, committed to 10,000 sq. ft. of office space at the 262,500 sq. ft. property owned by GLIC Real Estate Holdings, LLC.
The CBRE team of Tom Pajolek, Executive Vice President, and Ned Burns, Senior Vice President, spearhead the leasing campaign at the property and represented building ownership in the lease negotiations. Evolve BioSystems was represented by Adam Klimek of Cushman & Wakefield.
“We are pleased to be working with GLIC in bringing terrific value for today’s discerning tenants within walking distance to the Merritt 7 Train Station,” said Mr. Pajolek. “The ownership has committed to creating a unique property that meets the demands of today’s tenants. To that end, the property is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar investment in infrastructure upgrades.”

The Energy Star rated, and USGBC LEED Bronze certified building is currently undergoing several major upgrades including a
new HVAC/cooling tower, new elevator controls and parking enhancements.
The property currently has 85,000 sq. ft. of contiguous availability on two floors of 42,000 sq. ft. The space features an oversized window wall with 360-degree views, open floor plan with plenty of natural light and an internal connecting staircase providing a “building within a building” feel. In addition, ownership is offering prebuilt offices ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to 10,232 sq. ft., many with furnished workstations, large pantries with stainless-steel appliances and fully appointed conference rooms.
