Brookfield Properties Celebratesstate-of-the-art office tower,

Brookfield Properties today announced the topping out of Two Manhattan West, the second of two world-class office skyscrapers situated in the dynamic new Manhattan West neighborhood. The topping out brings the building to its full 58-story height, marking a significant milestone toward the building’s completion in 2023, as well as the progress of the larger neighborhood since its grand opening in September 2021. In addition to immaculate office space and soaring city views, future tenants of Two Manhattan West will enjoy unparalleled access to transportation hubs Penn Station and Moynihan Train Hall, attractions like Madison Square Garden and the High Line, and a plethora of premier dining, retail and entertainment offerings in the heart of the master planned, eight-acre development.

“Offering elite office spaces with exceptional views and set within an energetic new neighborhood, Two Manhattan West is the latest addition to our transformative Manhattan West development that is completely reimagining the West Side of Manhattan,” said Callie Haines, Executive Vice President and Head of New York, Brookfield Properties. “It is thrilling to see this vision continuously take shape. We look forward to welcoming more of the world’s most prominent companies and their talented teams to the neighborhood.”

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), master architect of the Manhattan West development, Two Manhattan West boasts two million square feet of rentable space. The building can accommodate multiple lobbies, 38,000 rentable square feet podium floor plates, a black car drop-off and robust infrastructure. With law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore already signed on as the tower’s flagship tenant, Two Manhattan West is already 25 percent leased.

Manhattan West is a mixed-use complex merging the best in modern office space, culinary experiences, hospitality, entertainment, luxury residences and immersive retail. In addition to Two Manhattan West, the neighborhood features office buildings One and Five Manhattan West and The Lofts, with nearly six million square feet of office space hosting tenants such as the NHL, Ernst & Young, JPMorgan Chase and Amazon.

Manhattan West opened in September 2021 with The Eugene luxury residences, Pendry Manhattan West Hotel, restaurants Zou Zou’s, Ci Siamo, and Daily Provisions, and whimsical art installation Citrovia leading the charge. Since the initial opening, a multitude of offerings have joined the development’s impressive roster of dining, experiential retail, and immersive entertainment opportunities. Upscale culinary market Citizens New York brings elevated quick service dining options such as Umami Burger, Krispy Rice, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Sa’Moto, El Pollo Verde, Plant Nation, and more, along with the recent opening of full-service restaurant Casa Dani by three-star Michelin Chef Dani Garcia. Retailers such as OPR Eyewear, Rothmans, Public Rec and New Stand have also opened their doors to customers since the original opening. Manhattan West celebrated its inaugural holiday season with an ice rink in partnership with NHL, which will be open in the 2.5-acre plaza for the remainder of the winter season. More innovative restaurants, retailers, and programming are still to come, including Peachy, a popular skincare and anti-wrinkle treatment studio, and contemporary variety theater, Midnight Theater.
