The Avenue of the Americas Association offers its members unique opportunities to learn about City initiatives and stay up-to-date on government, business and cultural issues that impact the local business community.
The Association acts on behalf of its membership to address issues affecting business operations and real estate values on the Avenue and serves a prominent community of business leaders and major building owners on the Avenue.
The Association is launching a campaign to represent the diversity of tenants on the Avenue while highlighting its best in arts, culture and retail that make the neighborhood unique and irreplaceable to the greater New York City community.
The campaign kicked off with a spin class on the public plaza at 1345 Avenue of the Americas. Over 50 riders participated in the 60 minute Cyc Fitness class and raised $36,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in support of their Race Across America.
The Association will soon host a live art demo at the 1221 plaza on the Avenue and is planning a ‘meet your neighbors’ event in late summer, featuring local businesses and vendors.
The Association will host the 88th Anniversary Gala in October to honor Silverstein Properties and will distribute the Green Street Awards which recognize owners and tenants for their efforts in adopting environmentally sustainable programs or improvements to their workplace.
