AKRF, an environmental, engineering and planning consultant, will help lead the debate on how best to ensure sustainable development in the region during the 5th Annual Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop hosted by the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast.
Taking place on March 5th at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ, the theme of this year’s workshop is “Sustainability Deconstructed: Toward a Resilient Future.” AKRF Technical Directors Deborah Shapiro and Christian Michel will each moderate a panel as part of the event.
“AKRF has been at the forefront of every aspect of sustainable development for more than 30 years, and we are excited to be part of the Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop,” said Ed Applebome, president of AKRF. “Deborah and Christian have distinguished themselves as leading industry voices and their expertise will help advance this important discussion.”
