Thor Equities has leased 1,050 s/f of prime retail space at 786 Madison Avenue to Yves Salomon, company executives announced today.

“Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side is the ideal location for Yves Salomon’s expansion into New York City, due to its proximity to some of the most fashionable high-end boutiques in New York,” said Melissa Gliatta, executive vice president of Thor Equities, which owns the retail condo.
The Paris-based fashion house specializing in furs, clothing and accessories is subleasing the space from Luigi Borrelli, a Naples-based upscale boutique. Yves Salomon retail stores are also located in Aspen, Paris, Saint-Tropez and Moscow.
786 Madison Avenue is surrounded by high-end retailers including Oscar de la Renta, J. Mendel, Michael Kors, Judith Ripka, and luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne.
