Manar, the Manhattan Association of Realtors, announced the appointment of Rick Wohlfarth as the organization’s new president for 2012.

Wohlfarth is a 10-year Manar member and most recently served as treasurer. He has run his eponymous brokerage, Wohlfarth & Associates, a specialist in New York’s Upper West Side neighborhood, since 1978.
Wohlfarth’s mandate for Manar’s 2012 efforts are to increase membership and education. The organization lists a current membership of 350 New York Realtors, and plans to double that figure by the end of 2012.
“New York remains one the healthiest and most dynamic real estate markets in the world,” said Wohlfarth. “We want Manar members to remain ahead of curve, and empower them with the networking, educational and training programs that will help them prosper.”
