Sabre Real Estate Group arranged a lease on Route 110 in East Farmingdale for Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the Florida-based restaurant chain known for its “well done” flavored pizzas. Anthony’s will occupy 3,200 s/f at 1278 Route 110, an under-construction building owned by an affiliate of JPD United Inc. expected to open this summer.
Founded in Florida by Long Island native Anthony Bruno in 2002, the chain today operates six Long Island restaurants and 53 nationwide. Dan Marino, NFL Hall of Famer, is a partner in the chain.
“This is an ideal location for Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. It’s close to Farmingdale State College, two multiplex cinemas, dense office development along the Route 110 corridor and significant retail in a highly visible site opposite Republic Airport,” said Sabre managing principal Jayson Siano, who represented Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. Chris Nicholson of Genesis Real Estate Advisors represented the landlord.
Sabre is assisting Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza on the chain’s national expansion; The chain is seeking locations of 2,800-3,200 s/f in freestanding buildings or shopping center end caps.
