Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering design, investigation and analysis firm, has launched a Chinese language version of its public website, www.ThorntonTomasetti.com.
The site, http://cn.thorntontomasetti.com/, can be accessed through the Chinese characters in the upper left of the English-language site. It focuses on project types of most interest to teams working in China.
The site launch coincides with a major presence of the firm at the 9th World Congress in Shanghai of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Five Thornton Tomasetti executives will make presentations at or shortly after the Congress.
“A Chinese version of our website helps us explain to our Chinese clients how we can assist them in meeting the challenges that come with creating dramatic, yet cost-effective, structures” said Thornton Tomasetti vice chairman Dennis Poon, who oversees the firm’s operations in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
