Software firm Nuxeo signs 12,500 s/f lease at 10 Jay St. in Dumbo

Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) represented Nuxeo, a global software company, in the leasing of its new 12,500 s/f U.S. headquarters at 10 Jay Street in Dumbo.

Whitten Morris and Joseph Sipala represented Nuxeo, while Howard Hersch of Jones Lang Lasalle represented the landlords, Glacier Global & Triangle Assets.

Nuxeo provide a content management platform for business applications for companies across a wide range of vertical markets. It was founded in 2002, and also has offices in London, Paris, Lisbon, Washington DC and Los Angeles.

After analyzing a number of locations in Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Bushwick, Nuxeo decided on Dumbo for its accessibility, inspiring work environment and excellent views.

“Nuxeo is very excited about the opportunities the new space will provide to grow its business in the U.S. and throughout the world,” said Nuxeo CEO Eric Barroca.

A former sugar refinery, 10 Jay Street is a modern workspace with marble forms, high-gloss, black paint and slatted ceiling panels with a Japanese influence.

“We are pleased to bring such a high-quality tenant to DUMBO,” said Sipala. “Nuxeo’s technology-oriented business is a perfect fit for the dynamic Dumbo neighborhood, and we are proud to work with this compelling company.”
