Sitt scion sees opportunity in W’burg

Real estate firm Colt Equities has made its second acquisition in New York, acquiring 93 North 9th Street, in Williamsburg.

The property, located between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street, features 10,000 s/f of retail space, an open layout and 100 feet of highly valuable frontage.

The trendsetting neighborhood, known for its charming boutiques, inviting restaurants and celebrated galleries, continues to undergo rapid redevelopment and revitalization.

“With its ideal location and blank-slate interior, 93 North 9th Street is a retail gem in the epicenter of Brooklyn’s trendiest neighborhood,” said Jack J. Sitt, founder of Colt Equities.

“As Williamsburg continues its remarkable transformation, this property represent a remarkable opportunity for a number of retail brands.”

Colt Equities plans to invest in building upgrades including a new façade and roof, and will provide future tenants with an open interior that can be designed to their needs.

Located near East River State Park, 93 North 9th Street’s neighbors include Brooklyn Bowl, American Apparel, and the Wythe Hotel.
