Savills completed a 25,000 s/f relocation for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) at One Seaport Plaza, located at 199 Water Street in Lower Manhattan.
Established in 1987, AFSP is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
Savills Scott Weiss, Erik Schmall, Peter Cipriano and Brad Wolk negotiated a long-term lease for the 11th floor of One Seaport Plaza. AFSP will relocate from 120 Wall Street in the summer of 2019.
“As a result of recent growth, AFSP needed to upgrade their workplace without disrupting employee commute patterns,” said Weiss.
“Following an analysis of numerous options in Lower Manhattan, One Seaport Plaza emerged as the best fit. AFSP’s new home will bring the organization a significant increase in efficiency due to upgraded infrastructure and a modern, virtually column-free layout.”
One Seaport Plaza provide sweeping views of New York Harbor, the Brooklyn Bridge and the downtown skyline. This building is LEED EB:OM Certified with the U.S. Green Building Council, and offers all the amenities and infrastructure needs that Class A tenants expect in today’s marketplace.
