Rosenberg & Estis was represented in-house by Michael Lefkowitz and William Byers, members of the law firm.

The Durst Organization was represented by David Neil, chief administrative officer of its leasing and marketing division, and Thomas Bow, senior vice president and director of leasing.

“733 Third Avenue has been our home for the past 20 years and has worked well for us,” said Luise A. Barrack, managing member with Rosenberg & Estis.
“We reached out to The Durst Organization about gaining access to the unused space sitting right outside our windows, and they were terrific about working with us to create an outdoor terrace from the space.

“While other firms are hunkering down for the winter, Rosenberg & Estis is looking forward to spring so we can use our new outdoor space.”

Rosenberg & Estis signed a 10-year lease to renew the 30,522 s/f it already occupies on the entire 12th and 14th floors.

The transaction also included a 7,442 s/f expansion for the entire 19th floor and a 4,800 s/f terrace on the 14th floor.

In addition, the law firm subleases 5,500 s/f of space on the 11th floor of 733 Third Avenue.

The 24-story 733 Third Avenue was designed by Emery Roth & Sons and constructed in 1961. Located on Third Avenue between East 45th and East 46th streets, the Class A office building underwent a complete renovation of the entry, lobby, and elevator cabs in 2005, and now features newly installed green roofs.
