Okada & Company has arranged a lease for BKUK Hospitality Groupʼs newest outpost at 1717 Broadway.
BKUK, which operates a string of restaurants in the city, signed a lease for the 7,101 s/f fifth floor space, becoming the first tenant to occupy the space since the property was built.
At 753 feet of height, 1717 Broadway is the tallest hotel in North America. It is home to both the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Central Park and the Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Central Park. The property is located right next to the theater that houses the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The fifth floor is a 4,678 s/f fully built restaurant lounge with a 2,423 s/f private terrace, and a 210 feet of wraparound frontage.
Christopher Okada, founder and president of Okada & Company, along with vice president David Ho represented both the tenant and landlord, Granite Management, in the lease.
Founded by Besim Kukaj, BKUK Hospitality operates a number of successful eateries, including Gallo Nero in the West VIllage, Limon Jungle in Hell’s Kitchen and Intermezzo, a traditional Italian restaurant in Chelsea.
