The Trump Organization announced today that Kathy Kaye has joined the company as executive vice president of sales.
Kaye will oversee all activities related to Trump’s residential and hotel condominium sales, both domestically and internationally.
Her main focus will be building new business for Trump Sales and Leasing, the company’s luxury brokerage house, and working with on-site agents at Trump-developed properties.
She will also work to develop brokerage opportunities for Trump-licensed projects and build capacities to streamline and cross-promote sales across the Trump portfolio of properties at home and abroad.
“Kathy is the ideal executive to lead sales for The Trump Organization. With her unique blend of sponsor, on-site and re-sales brokerage and management experience, we know that she will create fantastic opportunities across Trump’s vast portfolio of properties,” said Ivanka Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organization, in a statement.
“I am eager to explore and develop the many programs that Kathy will bring to the table,” she said.
Kaye said she was “truly excited to be working with what I consider to be the most dynamic and recognized real estate company in the world.
“This is a great opportunity to utilize the strength of the Trump name and expand its already strong sales exponentially in an integrated, global fashion,” said Kaye.
Kaye previously worked at Sotheby’s International Realty. Before that, as senior vice president of Related Sales she worked on projects such as Superior Ink, The Brompton, The Harrison, The Clarendon in Boston, and The Century in Los Angeles. She joiend the company in 2004 as director of sales at One Carnegie Hill, a 200-unit, brick building at 215 East 96th Street in Harlem.
Earlier in her career, she was a broker and sales agent a several top firms, including Douglas Elliman and Alice Mason.
Active in the Real Estate Board of New York, Kaye has served on the New Development committee as an advocate for advanced technology, and improving the standardization of the way brokers input and share information.
Kaye received a master’s degree in education from Bank Street and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Miami. She attended New York University’s School of Continuing Education, studying mortgages, finance and appraisals. Before entering real estate, she was involved and film, television and voice overs, and she is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
