Prime NYC, a boutique brokerage, has been selected by the sponsor of The Cammeyer at 650 Sixth Avenue to sell the remaining nine sponsor units at the pre-war loft building.
“Kumkang Housing Co. brought us on board for the final phase of sales at The Cammeyer – nine units, about 13 percent – because of our experience helping developers sell out the last phase of building inventory,” said Eric Hantman, CEO of Prime NYC.
“We initially leased some of the available inventory, and we are now in the process of selling the remaining residences in this extraordinary and historic pre-war loft building.”
Built in 1892, the building was once home to the world’s largest shoe store in the Ladies Mile District before it was converted into condos.
Bill Jang of Kumkang Housing Co. commented, “Prime NYC has a deep understanding of the market, experience with this stage of sales and has already sold a number of units in the building.”
Five of the nine sponsor residences have closed or are currently in contract. Two studio sponsor homes are currently available and start from $899,000, and the two remaining sponsor units are expected to be released at a later date.
Previously, Prime NYC helped sell out the last phase at 517 West 46th Street in Clinton and 154 Attorney Street on the Lower East Side.
