L&L Painting Company, Inc. announced that Teresa Giudice of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” hosted a fundraising event to benefit the NephCure Foundation on March 10, 2013 at her local gym, GETFIT Health & Fitness Center.
L&L Painting Company has been an active supporter of the NephCure Foundation since President Michael Levine’s young son Matthew was diagnosed with Focal Segment Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) in 2006.
The NephCure Foundation funds research to improve treatment and ultimately find a cure for those afflicted with the potentially debilitating kidney diseases, FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome. FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome are currently the leading cause of kidney failure in children.
Teresa Guidice met Matthew through his parents Dana and Michael Levine at an Eric Trump Golf Event and has since become an avid supporter of the foundation. The reality TV star previously partnered with L&L Painting to organize a fundraising event for the foundation at SoulCycle and raised over $60,000 for the cause through her accomplishments on Celebrity Apprentice.
The exercise event featured a meet and greet with Teresa Giudice, followed by a 90-minute workout class which focused on cardio, strength and flexibility at GETFIT gym, located at 410 Route 46 East in Fairfield, New Jersey. A donation of $50 for the class was required to benefit the foundation.
