

According to city documents filed Sept. 10, French-American banker Sarkozy purchased the 5-story townhome on August 2 from 125 East 10th Street, LLC.
Built in 1854 by famed architect James Renwick, the townhome at 123 E. 10th St in St. Mark’s Historic District has 4,200 s/f with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and was brokered by Rubicon Properties, which recently listed Frank Sinatra’s former penthouse apartment at 530 East 72nd Street on the Upper East Side for $7.7 million, according to the company’s website.
In February Sarkozy sold his townhouse at 407 East 75th Street on the Upper East Side for $8.4 million.
Sarkozy is a Managing Director and head of the Global Financial Services group at the Carlyle Group.
