In the final stretch of summer, apartment hunters looking for their next rental in New York City can conveniently view, all in one night, prime availabilities through REBNY’s Open House Thursdays.
Our new, cross-firm initiative to jointly showcase rental listing open houses held by REBNY Residential Brokerage professionals during the August rental season will continue this week on August 17th and next week on August 24th, with listings viewable from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
As part of our commitment to maximizing and elevating lead generation and visibility for REBNY members, this free, public event makes it easier for our residential brokerage members to do business by joining forces with other firms to showcase the best rental listings across the boroughs and close great deals.
For REBNY residential brokerage firms looking to participate, the process is very simple.
First, designate a contact person at your agency, as only one designated person from each firm may submit listings. The next step is to communicate with your agents. We have drafted an email that you may send to your agents so they can submit their listings to your internal, designated staff member.
Next, your designated staff member will need to make your payment before they submit all listing information, photos, and your company logo to REBNY before the deadline. Each firm may submit up to eight listings.
Whether or not your firm submits listings to be showcased through promotional materials, we encourage firms to schedule as many rental open houses as possible on these dates to maximize visibility. In addition to the event’s promotional materials, information on each of the open house listings can be found through rebny.com/OpenHouseThursdays, which lists the websites for each Thursday’s participating firms.

The NYC Department of Veterans’ Services is working with private sector partners to leverage and expand the resources needed to provide subsidized housing to veterans. To support this effort through REBNY’s 9th Annual Summer Donation Drive, REBNY members are encouraged to donate new or like new kitchen items including silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, cups, cleaning essentials, and more.
