Manufacturers to star in Kamco trade show

Brooklyn-based Kamco Supply Corp. will host a trade show for builders, contractors and design professionals on Thursday, May 7, at Douglaston Manor in Little Neck, New York.

Over the past 75 years, Kamco Supply Corp. has grown to become one of the New York region’s largest suppliers of building materials for large builders and local contractors.

The company plays a critical role in delivering materials to construction sites across the New York metropolitan area every day.

The Kamco Trade Show is expected to draw more than 500 local builders, contractors, developers and over 100 local architects.

The event will feature over 50 leading building material manufacturers who will show and demonstrate some of their latest products.

Manufacturers include Armstrong World Industries, USG Corporation, National Gypsum, Continental Gypsum, Super Stud, Clark Steel and many, many more.
The event will feature educational seminars for architects that will cover Introduction to Thru Penetration and Construction Joint Fire Stopping, Evolution of Lightweight Building Materials and Perimeters, and Floating Elements.

“We are continuing to experience a strong building and construction market across the New York Region. Our annual trade show allows us to interact with our customers and find out from them the types of materials and supplies they need as well as how we can better support them,” said Dave Kovacs, Vice President, Kamco Supply Corp.

“In return, we bring in manufacturers to meet attendees and show them the latest products and equipment available to assist them to be more productive and efficient.”
