SCG-Retail announceD the signing of a 700 s/f lease at 130 Thompson Street, between Houston and Prince in Soho, for a new concept from Law & Order alumni Rebecca Perkins and Stephanie March called Rouge NYC.
Perkins, the former make-up department head on the NBC crime drama, and actress Stephanie March, who played prosecutor Alexandra Cabot, have teamed up to create the fullservice make-up salon.
According to Jordan Cohn and Jacqueline Klinger, the SCG Brokers who represented Rouge NYC, “Now women will have the opportunity to get make-up done from fashion, film and TV professionals at affordable prices.”
Perkins will assume the role of head make-up artist and CEO. March will be a managing partner in the operation. This is the first location for Rouge and more are planned for 2014.
The site is owned by Standard Realty and was a former real estate office. The broker representing the landlord was Robert Carbonara of First Allied Properties.
