Some of the industry’s leading executives met with interns from the cityʼs Ladders for Leaders paid summer jobs program Monday night at REBNY headquarters in Manhattan. The purpose was to give Ladders for Leaders and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Industry Scholar interns the opportunity to receive advice from industry professionals on how to build a successful career. In addition to sharing tips and insights, representatives from some companies including Rudin Management, Fetner and SLGreen, answered interns’ questions and networked following a panel discussion. Ladders for Leaders connects high-performing NYC public high school and college students with major companies across various industries. It arranged more than 1,600 six-week internships this summer with more than 600 companies, a new record for the program.
