Hodges Ward Elliott (HWE) has hired two more New York City industry veterans as it continues its push into the investment sales sector.
Paul Gillen has joined the firm from CBRE, and Related and Studley alumnus Daniel Parker is on board as a senior vice president.
The pair joins Will Silverman, who left left Savills Studley last month to lead the New York expansion of the hotel brokerage into the investment sales arena beyond its traditional hospitality asset class.

Gillen, who will serve as managing director at HWE in their New York office, has worked on over $15 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
He was most recently a senior vice president in the New York City Investment Sales Group at CBRE wherehigh-profile asset sale and recapitalization transactions included 230 Park, One Chase Manhattan Plaza, 1370 Broadway, and 511 West 25th Street.
Before that, was a vice president at Morgan Stanley. Gillen has also held officer positions at UBS Global Asset Management and Transwestern Investment Services Group.
Gillen received an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
Parker was previously a vice president at The Related Companies, where he led a management team overseeing a 2,700-unit multifamily portfolio in New York City.
Prior to working for Related, he worked in the Savills Studley Capital Transactions Group, closing in excess of $2.2 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
Notable transactions included multifamily properties at 316 Bergen, 10 East 29th Street, and 111 Kent Avenue, office properties at 100-104 Fifth Avenue and 414 West 14th Street and 2300 Broadway.
Parker received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Utah and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Gillen and Parker will work in the new HWE office at 1140 Avenue of the Americas, which will house the firm’s first practice dedicated to commercial investment sales brokerage and financing beyond the hospitality asset class, including retail, office, multifamily and land.
